Alice Pauline Moore, age 95, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 7, 2023 at her residence.
Alice was born ib September 7, 1928 in Sentinel, Missouri to Fred Francis Hawkins and Ali Dee Myers.
Alice was preceded in death by her first husband, George Robert Spurgeon, her sons, Roy Steven Spurgeon and G. Mike Spurgeon and her husband, James Robert Moore.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Sharron Sue Spurgeon, son, Charles G. Spurgeon, granddaughters, Tamantha Lynn and Paula Sue, great-granddaughter, Jamie Fonde and her fur babies, Candy and Tabetha.
Alice was a model for Rossie the Riveter at the age of 16, and was a housewife, for 75 years.
Alice was known for her kindness, honesty, loyalty and was trustworthy to a fault .
Alice was a great mother, grandmother aunt and friend.
Alice will be missed by many.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Eastern Hills Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m., 3100 Morris St. NE, Albuquerque, NM. Interment will take place at Santa Fé National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St., Santa Fe, NM on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 10:30 a.m.
