Betty Jane Richardson, 88, of Mooresville, IN, passed away at home peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 20, 2023. She was born on February 16, 1935 in Allegre, KY to Mack and Rosie Driskill.

She worked for Tom O'Brien in Greenwood, IN for several years and then went on to be something she loved doing. Betty enjoyed cleaning, so she took on a position cleaning other peoples homes. She then decided to stay at home and take care of her grandchildren.

Betty was a member of Monrovia Nazarene Church and was very dedicated to her church and her family. Her children would say we were at church every time the doors opened.

Betty is survived by three sons; three daughters; 29 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Richardson; and three children - Melba Warner, Nathan Griggs and David Griggs.

Betty will be missed by all who entered her life. She was a wonderful mother and servant of God.

There will be a visitation and funeral service on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Indiana Funeral Care - Greenwood Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM with the funeral service to start at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hall, IN at 4:00 PM.
