Ronald G. Benedict, 75, of Jacksonville, Florida, went home to be with his Heavenly Father unexpectedly on September 11, 2023.
Ron was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served his country honorably for over forty years. He was an avid outdoorsman and a loving husband, father and grandfather who is deeply loved and missed. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen A. Benedict, his daughter, Rebecca E. Benedict (Brandon Thompson), his granddaughter, Adelaide E. Thompson, his brother, David R. Benedict (Kim), and several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218, on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 10am.
