Susan Hoover/Huber was born abt. 1833 in Pennsylvania to Henry Huber and Mary Fetterholf. She was married to Daniel I. Aley.

The Reynoldsville Star, Reynoldsville, PA, Dec. 14, 1910, p. 1. Sight Restored by Operation. Mrs. Daniel Aley an aged lady residing on East Main street, who has been totally blind for five years, caused by cataract, was operated upon last week by local physicians and her eyesight is now completely restored and she is able to read the papers as easily as before she became affected.

Susan died Dec. 27, 1915 at Lebanon, PA. She was 81 years of age, widowed, and lived at 28 N. 15th Street. She was taken to Reynoldsville, PA for her burial Dec. 30. P. H. Thompson of Lebanon was informant on her death certificate.

Mrs. Susan S. Aley, widow of the late Daniel I. Aley, of 24 South Tenth street, died at 3:20 o'clock Monday afternoon from senile debility, following a serious illness of but a few days at the home of her son, Charles O. Aley, local manager of the Adams express company. She was 81 years old and leaves the following children, Mrs. Mary Cranbaugh, of Reynoldsville, Mrs. Emma Hastings, Six Mile Run, Harry C. Aley, Chicago, and Charles O. Aley of this city. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Body Taken to Reynoldsville Where Burial Will Take Place. The body of the late Mrs. Susan S. Aley widow of Daniel I Aley of this city was this morning taken to Reynoldsville, PA for burial there tomorrow. The body was in charge of Charles O. Aley, local manager for the Adams express company with whom the deceased had made her home. P. H. Thompson was the undertaker.
