Margaret was the daughter of Lee M. and Nancy L. (Hawkins) Hart. She married (1) Curtis Vibert Moose in 1927 and they had two children: Nancy Hart and Thomas Norman. She married (2) Edward Wendell Owen in 1962.

SALISBURY - Mrs. Margaret Moose Owen, 86, of Meridian Health Care Center died Tuesday at Rowan Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Summersett Funeral Home. Burial will be in Unity Presbyterian Church cemetery.
A native of Clarendon County, Ark., she was a graduate of the School of Nursing of Long Hospital in Statesville, a former private duty nurse at Rowan Memorial Hospital, a member of First Presbyterian Church, of the Salisbury Private Duty Nursing Association, a former member of the Salisbury Women's Club, and an organizer and charter member of Greenwood Garden Club.
Surviving are son, Thomas N. Moose of Asheboro; stepson, Hayden C. Moose of Rockwell; daughter, Mrs. Nancy Moose Bailey of Salisbury; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 10-11 a.m. today.
