Joyce Ann Pryor, "Jody", passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in Ada, Oklahoma. Joyce was born on November 24, 1944 and raised in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She attended the Moss School system and graduated high school in 1962.
Jody was a homemaker and joyfully raised her daughter, Tina, of whom she loved and adored with all her heart. She was a doting "Gone-Gone" to her grandson, Law and his children, a title that she held very dear and loved. She also enjoyed spending time with her lifelong friend, Patsy Sepeda, who was more like a sister to her. Together, she and Patsy made many happy memories together and shared more laughs than they could count. She also has a special friend Bob Riddle with whom she delighted in spending time with. Joyce was a fan of baseball, old westerns and especially appreciated tending to her garden and flower beds. Most of all Joyce loved being with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Joyce is preceded in death by her mother Juanita Brown, daughter Tina McMeans, brothers Jackie Brown and Jimmy Brown.
Joyce is survived by grandson, Law McMeans and wife Casidy, great grandchildren, Amaeryse and Pryor McMeans, siblings, Dewayne and wife Gloria Brown, Billy and wife Susan Brown, Randy and wife Linda Brown, Mark and wife Deena Brown, Raynita and husband Robbie Lee and numerous other loved ones. Joyce will be missed by all who knew and love her.
Services will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 at 10:00am at Holdenville Cemetery.
