Our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, friend returned to his Heavenly Father at 7 am, December 19, 2011. He was surrounded by members of his family at his passing. Shane grew up in Murray and attended Murray High School. He worked with plastics and made many beautiful items. At the time of his death, he was employed at Delvie's Plastics where he was treated with great respect, compassion and love. Shandra and Shane loved to go camping in the deserts and mountains of Utah. We shall all miss him terribly, but will go forward with the knowledge that we will be together again. He was born December 17, 1962 to Gordon & Shirley Gutke. He is survived by his wife, Shandra Winters; his children, Ashley Gutke, Kody (Shurree) Winters & Nikolette Winters; grandchildren, Kyler & Kambree Winters; siblings, Shellie (Alan) Ridl of Great Falls, Kimberley (Mark) Hansen of Salt Lake, Gene (Cindy) Gutke of Salt Lake, and Weston (Tamara) Gutke of Evanston. A celebration of Shane's life will be held at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Murray, Utah on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Utah Cancer Specialists in the name of Shane Gutke.
