Blanche Lee Ball, age 96, of East End, met her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, face to face on September 28, 2023. She was born on February 6, 1927, near Falcon, Nevada County, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Della Palmer, her husband Thurman Ball, brothers: Dale, Bernard, and Clifford, sisters: Estelle, Marie, Margaret, Louise, and Lorraine, her son Truman Ball, and grandson Kyle Hathcote.

Blanche lived a long life devoted to her Lord, her husband, (whom she lost at the very young age of 38), her children, Truman and Lorraine, and all of her family. Through her love and faithfulness, she is the reason for so many loving memories that has shaped our family's character. She had a heart for children, reading God's word, and spending time with her family. Her grandkids have fond memories of her selfless love, including fun sleepovers with late night giggling, never ending snacks, that big ole jar of sweet tea she would always have freshly made, how she would look you in the eye and remind you to "do right", and everyone's favorite… the back scratches. Blanche passes on to all of us the great testimony of what it means to love the Lord with all your heart, mind, and soul, and her "prayers were always for you".

Blanche leaves her memory to be cherished by her daughter Lorraine Hathcote (Ball); 12 grandchildren: Scott (Lindsey) Cobb, Casey (Becca) Cobb, Michele (Brian) Woods, John (Debra) Hathcote, (Kim) Hathcote, Shannon (Reeder) Sams, Shelly (Jonathan) Whitehead, Andrea (Rodney) Cheek, Kelly (James) Rolan, Erin Pekrul, Matt (Julie) Hathcote, and Mark (Andie) Hathcote; 36 great-grandchildren: Morgan Cobb, Jackson Cobb, Emma Cobb, Presley Cobb, Brody James, Chase Cobb, Hunter Woods, Taylor (Austin) Norris, Cole Hathcote, Hayden (Chloe) Hathcote, Tanner Hathcote, Riley Hathcote, Ivan Sams, Charli Lake Sams, Morgan (Lane) Butler, Lillie Claire Daniel, Kennedy Whitehead, Lila Pearl Hathcote, Selma Ruth Cheek, Lexi Doss, Tatiana LaGrandier, Jacob Rolan, Vanessa Rolan, Jakobe Rolan, Ava Pekrul, Michael Pekrul, Jack Pekrul, Hannah Lou Pekrul, Brinkley Hathcote, Hunts Hathcote, Silas Hathcote, Henry Hathcote, Hoyt Hathcote, Sawyer Hathcote, Ezra Hathcote, and Abraham Hathcote. Two great, great grandchildren: Keanu Neri and Hart Kyle Hathcote.

Funeral services will be held at East End Baptist Church on October 5th. Visitation at 10:30 followed by the funeral at 11:30. [2] In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the East End Baptist Church Benevolence fund.

Fear Not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)
