Ezra O'Neal, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. O'Neal of Lone Star Game Reserve, departed this life on January 21, 1933 at the age of nineteen. We think of this as being a sad age, just in the prime of life, but man's life is not measured solely in years. The measure of a man's life is deeds; more than that, it is character. When our lives are a part of Thy eternity it will not matter how much or how little time we spend on earth.

He is survived by his father and mother, three sisters, Exa, Flora Gene, and Irma; four brothers, Leon, Kermit, Orrell and Shirley.
A large number attended the funeral services held in the home at twelve o'clock Sunday, with the Rev Davis officiating.
Interment was in the Perkinston cemetery.
The many floral offerings sent by friends were beautiful.

We have but one life to live.
It may be short or it may be long.
It is God who knows what to give.
And when we shall join that happy throng.
Knowing this why do we grieve;
Contented in Him can't we be?
Looking to Him, we do believe.
God knows all things better the we.
C.C.

Note: Father was Eugene Byron O'Neal. The brother listed as "Orrell" should be "Arl".
