Mrs. John W. Adams of Beaver
Mrs. Mary Vogel Adams, 76, died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home of a niece, Mrs. Mary Kuhn, in the Germany community, Beaver, Rte 2. She suffered a broken hip six weeks ago. The daughter of Martin and Angeline Schilling Vogel, she was the last of her family. Her husband, John W. Adams, died several years ago. Surviving are a son, Dewey Adams of Athens; two nephews, William Wooddell of Portsmouth, and Oscar Wooddell of Dayton, and the niece, Mrs. Kuhn. The Rev. John Kemper of Sciotoville, officiated at the service held at two p. m. Monday from the Germany church. Burial was in the Germany cemetery under the direction of the Davis Hammerstein Co., of Beaver.
