Adriana I. Roetken (aka Dreena) departed her loving family on September 30, 2023. Adriana was born in Arkansas on September 19, 1935 to Alicia and Palamento Fernandezes. Adriana and her siblings were ultimately relocated with their parents to San Francisco, California and made that their home.
Adriana spent years volunteering as a Candy Striper at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, CA.
She raised three children with love and devotion in the city of Saratoga, CA with her devoted husband Howard.
Her hobbies included real estate, traveling abroad and a love for shopping.
Adriana and Howard celebrated their 69-year wedding anniversary on August 27, 2023.
Adriana is survived by her husband Howard Roetken, son Victor Roetken, daughters Julie Roetken, Stephanie Roetken and her sister Santa Cattich. She is also survived by grandchildren Tiffany, Amanda, Myles and Justin. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren Carmen, Issac, Frankie, Jr., Joseph, Rylan and Gracyn.
Visitation Service will be on Monday October 9, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Rosary/Vigil at 6:00pm at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City, CA. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday October 10, 2023, at Saint Andrew's Catholic Church 1571 Southgate Ave. in Daly City, Ca. at 12:00 p.m. followed by the Burial at The Italian Cemetery 540 F St, Colma, Ca.
