Funeral for Charlie E. Rose, 80, of Hillsboro will be Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Pullen officiating.

Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Rose, who died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, at Decatur General Hospital, was born June 20, 1927, in Morgan County to Charlie and Ila Rose. He was retired from Chrysler and enjoyed hunting with Beagles and working in the yard.

Survivors include his wife, Merle Rose; two sons, Mitchell Rose of Hillsboro, and Michael Rose and wife, Jennifer, of Ottawa, Canada; one daughter, Carolyn Rickelmann and husband, Lawrence, of Milan, Mich.; two sisters, Ruby Terry of Hillsboro, and Celia HIll and husband, Kermitt, of Woodhaven, Mich.; one grandchild, Rebecca Rickelmann of Ypsilanti, Mich.; and two great-grandchildren, Gia and Ryan Rickelmann of Ypsilanti.

Pallbearers will be Kermitt Hill, Lawrence Rickelmann, Jimmy Terry, Byron Terry, Onnis Terry and Joe Rose.
