Capt. Lionel Stewart Williams, aged 43, late of the Egyptian Army, who lived with his father-in-law, the Rev. M. L. Winterton, Vicar of Trull, near Taunton, died on Monday from the effects of an accident in August last year. He was on his hunter assisting to drive cattle from a field, when the animal reared and threw him. He received a fractured spine, resulting in paralysis of the lower part of the body, and broncho-pneumonia. [Published in the Somerset Guardian and Radstock Observer on 7th December 1934].
