Margie Theopal Bilyeu Reed, 91, of Krum, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023, in Cleburne. She was born January 28, 1932, in Krum to John Gordon and Mary Christine (Renfro) Bilyeu. Theopal grew up in Krum, graduating from Krum High School. She was an active member of Krum Church of Christ.

Theopal is survived by her daughter, Sue Loser and husband, Paul; son, James T. Reed and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Jonathan Moss and wife, Lindsey, Andrew Moss and wife, Erica, Nathan Reed; great grandchildren, Emilia and Julianna; step-grandson, Michael Loser and step-granddaughter, Kelly Tomlinson.

Theopal is preceded in death by her husband, James O. Reed; grandson, Daniel Reed; brothers, Russell Bilyeu, Granville Bilyeu, J.C. Bilyeu; sisters, Launa Rosson and Dortha Atkins.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. The website is https://www.rettsyndrome.org.

A memorial service will be held at the Krum Church of Christ on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 10:00 A.M.
