MRS. MARTHA HUPPERT

Mrs. Martha Huppert, 60, of 30 West Union Street, Nanticoke, died yesterday morning at 1:45 in Nanticoke State Hospital, where she was a patient since Sunday. She had been in poor health for some time.

Mrs. Huppert was the widow of Benjamin Huppert, former foreman for Susquehanna Collieries company and leader of the old Stickney Band.

She was born in Nanticoke, the daughter of the late William and Martha Benson. She was a member of St. Francis' Church, the Altar and Rosary Society and the Catholic Daughters of America.

Mrs. Huppert leaves a daughter, Mrs. James Hogan, Shelton, Conn.; a grandson, James, Jr.; a brother, John, Nanticoke, and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Armstrong, Nanticoke, and Mrs. Leo Kirsch, of Baltimore, Md.

The funeral will be held from the home on Saturday morning at 9:30, followed by a requiem mass at 10 in St. Francis' Church, interment will be in the parish cemetery.
