Shirley was born May 20, 1935, in Bloomington, IL, the daughter of Henry L. and Edith M. Flesher Hallstein. She married Robert W. Swartz on October 24, 1954, in Tulle, France. He died January 18, 1971.
Cremation rites were accorded, and a graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 13, 2023, at Lexington Cemetery, Lexington with Rev. Garry Gromley officiating.
