Mrs. Weikle was born March 22, 1920 near Gilmore City, IA the daughter of Floyd C. and Nora V. (Clabaugh) Stanley. She was a 1938 graduate of Decatur High School. From 1938 to 1941 she worked at the Wash-Wright Laundry but spent most of her life as a homemaker. Mrs. Weikle was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. On November 29, 1952, she married Paul Jerry Weikle in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death on February 26, 1990. Together they raised her three children from a previous marriage.
Surviving are her children, sons; James E. Quinlan and wife Suzanne of Oklahoma City, OK, Charles M. Quinlan and wife Judy of Sullivan, IL, daughter, Judith M. Sumner and husband Bill of Sullivan, IL, Betty J. Berry of Piper City, IL, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, brothers, Gerald Stanley and wife Maxine of Decatur, IL, Wayne Stanley and wife Helen of Decatur, IL and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law, Allen Berry, great-grandson, Andy Read, sisters, Eunice Fox and Bernice McClerren.
