Albanus B. Kitzmiller, 68, professor of psychology at Mount Union College since 1927, died Monday afternoon in City Hospital after a long illness.
Prof. Kitzmiller, who had been on a leave of absence from Mount Union, was a graduate of the college and was awarded his doctor of philosophy degree by Ohio State University.
He was superintendent of Louisville (O.) school from 1917 to 1925. He previously served two years as an educational missionary in the Anglo-Chinese schools in Singapore.
He was a member of the Union Avenue Methodist Church, where he was secretary of the board of trustees. He belonged to the Masonic lodge, Sigma Nu fraternity and a number of science and educational groups.
His widow, Lucille; two sons, John and Howard and two daugthers, Mrs. Ruth Sutton and Mrs. William Woolf, survive.
