Mary Ruth "Ruthie" Copple, 73, of Winslow, Indiana passed away with her family by her side on October 10, 2023. Ruthie was born on October 17, 1949, in Oatsville, Indiana, to the late Claude Hale and Marie Hale-Ashby.
Ruthie worked at the Pantry in Winslow, Indiana as a manager for 32 years. She collected M & M's, Campbells, Pillsbury, turtles, and smiley faces. She loved Ricky Van Shelton and Conway Twitty. Ruthie enjoyed watching the Game Show Network, Jeopardy was her favorite.
Ruthie is survived by her brother, Gerald Hale; and several nieces and nephews.
Ruthie is proceeded in death by her loving husband of 24 years, David Copple; parents; siblings, Dave, Kenny, Squire, Louie, Terry, Karen, Joan, Goldie, and Vivian.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 10 AM until 12 PM C.S.T.. The service will begin at 12 PM C.S.T with Pastor Keith Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Winslow, Indiana.
