SHAVER, Charles S. "Chick", age 72, of Nashville, died at home May 21, 2011. He was retired from American Bread Co. and H.G. Hill Stores. Survived by his loving wife, Wanda Fifer Shaver; sons, Charles of Shelbyville, Donnie and Kimberly of Roland, OK; daughter, Amy and Eddie Pope of Mt. Juliet; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; sister, Delilah O'Neal of Richmond, VA. Charles is preceded in death by mother and father, R.C. and Francis; brother, Rev. Jerry Shaver. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at Pennington UMC, 2745 Pennington Bend Road. Memorial service to follow with Rev. Ray Newell and Rev. Ed McClellan officiating. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Pennington United Methodist Church.
