Edward Neil Eisentrout, 89, of Strasburg, VA, formerly of Morgantown, WV, died Monday, October 9, 2023 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Martinsburg, WV.

Born on January 5, 1934 in Selbysport, Maryland, he was a son of the late John William and Martha Helen (Nedrow) Eisentrout. He also was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Marilynn Joyce (Ludwick) Eisentrout on February 9, 2022; four sisters, Erma Eisentrout, Martha Friend, Emogene Fisher and Edna Sebold and three brothers, Wendell, Clarence and Bill Eisentrout.

Mr. Eisentrout was a 1952 graduate of University High School in Morgantown, WV and served in the United States Army. He was retired as a research technician with the United States Department of Energy and was a life long member of the Church of the Brethren. He was very musically inclined and was a member of the Morgantown Men's Choir for many years. Interment will be at Arnold Cemetery
