Henry and Michael were privates in the Middle District Militia in 1776 in Captain Valentine Creager's Company. Henry, Balser, a Peter, and a Jophel, which may be a transcription error of Stopel, a nickname seen for Christoph. were each an "Associator", December, 1775 and all of them and Michael were each a "Juror to the Oath of Allegiance" in 1778. Christopher, Edward, Elijah, and Frederick all served in the local militia (no dates). A Jerimiah in January 23, 1782 was a first lieutenant in the Fredericktown Battalion of militia in Captain Shellman's company.
