Mary Kay Hazeltine,64, of Troy, MO, passed away on October 15, 2023 at her home. She was born on January 10, 1959 in St. Louis, MO to George and Alameda (Boedges) Harries. Mary Kay attended the local schools, along with her siblings. After high school, Mary Kay enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged on November 5, 1979. On July 12, 1996 she was united in marriage with Mark Hazeltine in Florissant, MO. She enjoyed photography, crocheting, fishing and baking. Mary Kay was always happy to spend time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

Mary Kay is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, Mark Hazeltine of Troy, MO, her daughter, Sandra (Jesse) Hornburg of Moscow Mills, MO, grandchildren; Alexia Hornburg, Madison Hornburg, Kailie Hornburg, Jesse Hornburg Jr., Gavin and Tyler Licare, siblings, Stuart Harries, Christy Dill, Sally Hill, Beth Albrecht, Mark Harries and Tom Harries, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Smetzer and her son, Jim Licare.

A Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery St. Louis, MO.
