Mother: Dorothy Anderson (

Brother: James William Anderson (1940- 2010)

Sister: Marilyn Dorothy Anderson (1943-2014)

PFC Richard Andrew Anderson joined the Army in 1966 and listed his self as single and says he is a Protestant

Upon completing his basic training and Infantry A. I. T. he received orders for the Republic of South Vietnam and arrived in country March 8,1967.

On June 1,1967 PFC Richard Andrew Anderson was killed by hostile enemy action, by multi-fragment wounds. His remains were interred on June 26,1967 at Long Island National Cemetery with full Military honors.

Noted awards are :
Purple Heart Medal, National Defense Medal,& Republic of Vietnam Service Medal W/Star.
