Jennings - Funeral services for Philip Bergeron, 72, will be at 3 p.m. today, Nov 2, from Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Segura Funeral Home.
Mr. Bergeron died at 3:15 a.m. in Jennings American Legion Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Survivors are his wife: Esther (LeJeune) Bergeron, two sons: Philip Gerald Bergeron of Jennings & Lacy Joseph Bergeron of Edgerly (Lacy son of Philip & Eula Vasseur Bergeron), six daughters: Betty Jane (Bergeron) Hebert of Lake Arthur, Phillis Loretta (Bergeron) LaBouve of Houma, Mardrie Faye (Bergeron) Dupuis of Marksville, Alice Jenora (Bergeron) Clemens & Virgilian (Bergeron) Leger of Marrero & Sherrell (Bergeron) Thorton of Lake Charles. Four brothers: Raymond Bergeron of Tepetate, Will Bergeron of Eunice, Edward Bergeron of Lake Charles & Lawrence Allen Bergeron, Sr of Orange, Texas. One sister: Mrs. Linus (Mary Bergeron) Manuel of Oberlin, 27 grandchildren & four great-grandchildren.
