Lenora (Davis) Jensen, 88, of Wyndmere, ND passed away October 16, 2023 at Maple View Memory Care, Fargo, ND under the care of Red River Valley Hospice.

Lenora was born in Lisbon, ND to Conroy & Onnelee (Crain) Borud on February 27, 1935. After graduating from Wyndmere High School in 1953, she attended Valley City Teachers College. She began her teaching career at a rural school in Wyndmere Township in the fall of 1953. She married Donnie Davis in 1955 and together they had three children, Debra, Richard, and Vernon.

In 1956 Lenora began teaching 4th and 5th grades in Delamere, ND until 1963, when she started teaching 4th grade at Milnor Elementary School. Lenora attended the University of North Dakota from 1969 to 1971 earning a Master's Degree and Elementary Principal's Credentials.

After the death of her husband Donnie in 1980, she married Max Jensen in 1983. Lenora continued teaching at the Milnor School teaching various classes in the elementary and junior high and serving as elementary principal until her retirement in 1993. She enjoyed her retirement traveling and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by children, Richard (Joanne) Davis, Vernon Davis, Dale (LeAnn) Jensen, Janel Huether, Wanda Meslow, Dean Jensen, Daniel Jensen and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Curt Borud, Jim (Mary) Borud and sister Shirley Borud.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers David Borud and Gary Borud, husbands Donnie Davis and Max Jensen and her daughter Debra Davis and son Dave Jensen.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 25, 2023 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at the Wyndmere Lutheran Church. Interment will be at the Elk Creek Cemetery near Wyndmere.
