Nathalie was born to Beatrice and Stanley Iwasaki on December 15,1949 in Wailuku, Maui. She grew up in Lower Camp 3 which boarder the Maui Airport. She is 1 of 2 children, which she is the oldest. She attended Wailuku Elementary, Iao Intermediate and graduated from H.P. Baldwin High School in 1967. After graduating with her high school diploma she continued her education in Oahu at Trendsetters where she graduated with her Cosmetology degree. As she got her degree she worked at two different beauty shops. Those shops were Stella's beauty shop and Gene's beauty shop all located in Wailuku. As time went on , she built up clientele and did home visits to her customers. She also was also was a graceful and elegant hula dancer who traveled half of the mainland doing what she loved to do. On August 10, 1974 she married the love of her life, Richard Cadorna. They had gotten married in Christ the King church in Kahului. Her and Richard had a total of 15 miniature poodles. In 1983 they had been blessed with their daughter Hollie. Nathalie was a Japanese descendent , and was the first in her family to ever be baptized as a Christian. On July 7, 1991 she was ordained to be a minister of God, in Ke Akua Mana church in Kapa'a, Kauai. She later became the Sunday School Superintendent of Ka 'Ekalasia O Kupaianaha where she was also a minster. As a women of God and who also loved to serve Him , she always had no problem of teaching of Him, spreading His word and being an amazing witness on to Him. She always had a big smile on her face and was always willling to help any individual in any way , shape or form. She was so loving , a life of the party , always enjoyed being around babies and children, enjoyed traveling , had an amazing and blessed talent for cooking and baking, her love for animals , her love for jewelry , hats , dressing up, dancing kachi-kachi , and taking photos. Nathalie was know for her cooking and baking. Some of her ono food that people fell in love with was her pastele, gandule rice, miso soup, prune mui, pickle mango, and so much more. She also had a knack for decorating during Christmas time. She had Christmas villages all over the kitchen countertop, as well as lights and a well decorated Christmas tree. Her ornaments and tree topper were always a sight to see and remember. Being around her was always a joy and loving time. If you knew her she was the light you need to see and have in your life. In her last few years before she passed, she truly enjoyed having her family with her and being surrounded with their undying love for her. She hard a rough few years before she passed, but she fought till the dying day. We thank God for her and for always being the strength she needed to keep going on. We know as her family that she is definitely missed and truly loved. We all cherished the time we had with her which was always a delight.
