Jim was an Eagle Scout. He played football in high school as a Thomas Edison Golden Bear. He had an older brother and a younger sister and brother. He was married for a period, but had no children. Jim was honest, relaxed, and he always worked. He had many friends. He enjoyed cooking for his poker group every other week. In the last 18 months of his life, he only missed one poker game; when he was in the hospital, a week before he died. Jim is, and will continue to be, deeply missed.
