PG 19 Ruliff Schenck, who was known in the area as "Old Injun" because of his Indian-like habits, died on December 28. He was 65 years old. He and his wife Hannah, owned a farm southwest of Palmira. They had some from New Jersey many years before. Ruliff was buried at Unity Cemetery.
