Anna Lucinda Marie Musch, 93, of Arenzville, died Friday afternoon, Oct. 31, 2008, at Culbertson Longterm Care in Rushville. She was born July 26, 1915, in rural Arenzville in the same home in which she later raised her family and was currently residing, the daughter of Theodore and Rosina Sophia Tristch Fricke. She married John Henry Musch on Oct. 17 1939, in Palmyra, Mo., and he preceded her in death May 22, 2005.
Surviving are two sons, Charles (wife, Suellen) Musch of Beardstown and Carl (wife, Cynthia) Musch of Virginia; five grandchildren, Greg (wife, Maria) Musch of Robinson, Scott (wife, Lisa) Musch of Arenzville, Jason Musch of Nashville, Tenn., Lucas (wife, Erin) Musch of Arenzville and Angela (husband, Andy) Carpenter of Virginia; and six great-grandchildren, Cydney, Mackenzie, Connor and Olivia Musch and Hannah and Caleb Carpenter. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Clyde William Musch; one brother, Homer Fricke; and one sister, Nina Huppe.
Mrs. Musch assisted her husband with the Cass County family farm until their retirement. She was a member of Virginia United Methodist Church. As a fabulous cook, Anna will especially be remembered for the delicious pies she made. She thoroughly enjoyed visiting with her family and friends.
Services were entrusted to Sager Funeral Home of Beardstown, Illinois.
