Edward R. Abair, 60, retired Detroit Police Officer. Edward was born in Garden City, Michigan, on December 19th, 1962, the son of Edward W. and Sharon (Scantland) Abair.
Edward is survived by his loving wife Shelly Paravantes-Abair of Lakeland, Florida; three daughters Simone (Alex) Steadman of Nevada, Candyce (Daniel) Bradshaw of Tennessee, Ashlee (Tyler) Wiles of North Carolina; son Austin Abair of Tennessee; five grandchildren; and one brother Gary (Elaine) Abair of Haines City, Florida.
Edward retired after 27 years with the Detroit Police Department. He was a photographer, graphic artist, avid outdoorsman, loved all sports especially Golf, and loved to travel.
