Annie Lee Crittenden Adams of Spartanburg, SC entered into eternal rest Saturday, February 7, 2015, after a brief illness.

Born June 30, 1931, in Ozark, AL, daughter of Sincy Crittenden and Daisy Payne Crittenden (1907-1942); wife of George Adams (1932–1986).

A member of Rhema Word Apostolic Church, was the Mother of Emmanuel Full Gospel Church for over 25 years, and was an active member of the Noon Day Prayer and Intercessory group.

Survivors include her children, Norman Green, Patricia (Miles) Younger, Adele Jones, Georgia Crittenden, Ida Crittenden, Katherine (Ricky) Jones, George Adams, Jr., Pearl McCullough, and David Adams; 19 grandchildren; 23 great- grandchildren; five great- great-great-grandchildren; brother, James (Shirley) Crittenden; niece, Vicky (Dwight) Shelton; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Also preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Mae Adams (1969–1982); and great-granddaughters, Ashley Younger and Niesha McCullough.

A Celebration of Life was held at 3:30 pm, Saturday, February 14, 2015, at John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, Spartanburg, SC, officiated by Pastor Wesley Satterwhite; interment was in Lincoln Memorial Gardens.
