Don Thackrey's (1994) unpublished manuscript identifies Johann II as "the progenitor of the Keim branch that lived in Chester Co, PA. After living for a time in Chester Co, he moved on and settled at Yellow Springs in East Nantmeal Township near what was later Harmonyville in Warwick Township" (p. 6). The names of his children are from KAF, p. 139, and from D. Keim, 2005, p. 2. According to the German Keim Bible, Nicholas Keim was "the son of Peter Keim, the son of Johan Peter Keim, son of the immigrant who received land warrants dated Nov. 27, 1719-30 (Descendants of Jacob Hochstetler, 1977, p. 285). Most likely, he is interred in Chester County where most of his children and grandchildren are interred. Johannes Peter Keim married Catherine Stump in about 1732 since their first child, Johannes Keim III, was born in 1733.
