Hilda Alletta (Larson) Baldry was born April 23, 1899 to Ludwig and Sophie (Mathson) Larson on their farm near Groton. This is the area where she grew up and attended school.

She married Oran Baldry July 11, 1918 at Aberdeen. They farmed near Groton until 1949 when they moved to Aberdeen. He died December 25, 1978. She continued to make Aberdeen her home. She has been a resident of the Aberdeen Living Center since July 1990.

She was a gentle and loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by two sons, Gordon Baldry, Houston, Texas; Dennis Baldry, Missoula, Mont.; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Lyla) Krueger, Aberdeen; and Patricia Booker, Mesa, Ariz.; one brother, Alvin Larson, Aberdeen; one sister, Alma Von Wald, Aberdeen; 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, two brothers and three sisters.

She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, a charter member of Lucky 13 Bridge Club and chairman of Senior Citizens Bridge Club.

Hilda Alletta Baldry died Saturday, March 21, at the Aberdeen Living Center.

The funeral for Hilda A. Baldry, 92, 915 S. Penn., Aberdeen, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Aberdeen. The Rev. Gerold Sevig will officiate.

Burial will follow the service in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen. The Miller-Huebl Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Casket bearers will be David Krueger, Norman Johnson, Allan Larson and Joe Brooks, all of Aberdeen; Terry Brooks, Pukwana, S.D.; and Lantry Lorenz, Littleton, Colo.

Organist will be Arliss Alberts and the soloist will be Sheila Blomster.

Ushers are Ben Benson and Richard Ratzlaff.
