Eleanor was the daughter of a banker, Archibald Wood. She married Anthony A B Lefroy, a banker from Port Hope, in 1893 in Millbrook. In the 1901 Canada Census of Millbrook Village, Eleanor LeFroy was a widow with two sons, living with her parents and many of her siblings. The two sons were Aylmer A Lefroy, age 6 and Eric B. Lefroy, age 3. She died at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Toronto after a lengthy hospitalization.
