Brenda Jane Vaughn, age 69, of Kansas, Okla., passed away Oct. 11, 2023, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark. She was born March 8, 1954, in Berryville, AR., to Dale Cook and Lucille (Youngblood) Cook.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry, siblings Danny Cook, Debra Reed, and Judy Cook, and step-daughter Amy Vaughn. Brenda is survived by her children, Amy Tye of Kansas, Okla., John Cook of Ft. Smith, Ark., and Kert Howard of Berryville, Ark., grandchildren Kylie, Kobie, Kyndall, Brooke, Jalyn, Austin, and Sativa, great-grandchildren Neveah, Bryce, Bowen, and Kynston, and Brenda's sister, Carol Moss.
