John H. Crane died Thursday night of paralysis. He was helping move a piano 3 years ago, and it fell upon him in such a manner as to cut his spinal cord at the lumbar area. He was the third of 5 children of Carlton and Barbara Hopkins Crane. Mr. Crane's mother, now Mrs. James Kaufman, is living in Dana, and his brother James C. of Clinton, his sisters, Miss Alice Crane, and Mrs. Belle Sharp, both of Dana, his half-brother Will Truitt, besides his wife Mary, and 2 children, Glenn and Lillie, survive.
