Vandevort, Robert Timothy


Robert Timothy Vandevort, 48, of Kingsville, Missouri, passed away on April 15, 2008. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2008 at First Bible Baptist Church of Blue Springs. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at First Bible Baptist. Interment will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be set up in Tim's honor to benefit his sons. Tim was born on September 9, 1959 in Independence, Missouri to Robert J. Vandevort and Berneita Downey. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1977. Tim loved the outdoors-whether he was hunting, fixing cars and garage doors or riding his beloved Harley. He especially loved to watch his boys play sports while they were growing up. Tim volunteered his time in Lone Jack as an EMS and a volunteer firefighter. He was a man who would put everyone before himself and would be there when you needed him. He was our rock.
