Mrs. Pearl S Karr - Mrs. Pearl Sarah Weakley Karr, 73 years old, Fifth and Keller Streets died at 4:45 O'clock Tuesday afternoon at the St. John's hospital in Joplin, She had been ill three months.

Born south of Galena, in was then Indian territory, Mrs. Karr had lived n this area all her life. She was married to Charles W Karr in Baxter Springs in 1907 He died in April, 1957

She was a member of the First Baptist Church

Surviving are two sons, Marion Karr and Bill Karr, both of Galena, three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Sliger of Galena, Mrs. Elizabeth Gates of Pittsburg, and Mrs. Josie Hendryx of San Fernando, CA A brother Tom Weakley of Baxter Springs, Ks A sister, Mrs. Arabell Gates of Pittsburg, 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren
