PELL CITY - Graveside service for Velma Higdon Terry, 95, was Sunday at 2 p.m. in Fairmount Cemetery in Red Level with the Rev. A.L. Courtney officiating.

Mrs. Terry died Nov. 16. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Rose Posey; her two husbands, Christopher Columbus Posey and Durham Edward Terry and a grandson, Robert Christopher Miller. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Red Level, served as the postmistress at the Red Level Post Office for five years and was a member of the Red Level Women's Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Amelia P. Hugghins of Pell City and Patricia P. Miller of Cantonement, Fla.; two sisters, Bertha Allen of Bagdad, Fla., and Ouida Keyser of Crestview, Fla., and her grandchildren, Carol Hugghins Varallo, Melanie M. Money, Susan Hugghins Smith, Melissa Miller-Pyle and Marla Gale Hugghins.
