∼"Honorable A. A. Crews"
Served in companies G & K of the 29th ALabama infantry regiment. In 1862 Co 'G' muster roll gives his enlistment as Aug 18, 1862 at Pollard, AL. IT also states he served in May and June 1862 making this a reenlistment. Dec 1862 muster puts Co G At Camp Lee, AL.
In Nov 1863 he is in Ross Hospital at Mobile for 5 days with an Int. fever. The only record of him in Co 'K' is at the surrender. Possibly this was because of convenience.
