Bertha May Needham, of Grove, OK, passed away October 26, 2023.

She was born to Nolda J. Walker and Herbert F. Durbin on June 15, 1942 in Clovis, NM.

In 1961, she married Bobby Ray Needham, son of George Dewey and Geneva (Reasoner) Needham. They had 3 children. They settled on a farm near Grove, OK, and raised livestock, gardened, fished and planted pecan trees.

Bertha taught Sunday school, sang at church and with her siblings. For many years, she attended 1st Assembly of God Church in Grove. She worked as a bookkeeper at Cornerstone Bank in Southwest City, MO for 24 years and cared for her husband as his eyesight failed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years; her parents; her brother Don Durbin; her sisters Paula Benigar Smith and Barbara June Kenyon.
