Our most beloved Jose "Aaron" Martinez passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

He was born July 20, 2004 in Dallas, TX. Aaron was a student at the University of North Texas in Denton and worked as a Whataburger Trainer. He was a dedicated student and was proud to work hard to pay his own way through college as he always had a plan to follow and achieved his goals.

Aaron was a kind, gentle person that valued family and always made sure that we gathered on weekends to watch football or baseball to bond and share a meal. He had many close friends and he loved spending time with them and just enjoyed life to the fullest.

Aaron is survived by his parents, Jose and Stephanie Martinez, sister Kayla Martinez, grandparents Jose Angel and Esperanza Martinez, Sylvia Garcia, Ruben Nungaray, Uncles Saul (Daisy) Martinez, Hugo Martinez, Carlos Nungaray, Aunts Eva (Julio) Gomez, Victoria Nungaray and Lorena Nungaray. He is also survived by cousins Alejandro, Jair and Gabriela Gomez, and Alexis and Alyssa Martinez.

A Visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home on Tuesday November 7, 2023 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will held at the Cathedral Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe on November 8, 2023 at 10:00 am. Interment to immediately follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
