Died early Friday morning, Oct. 7, 2005. Edith was born in Ontonagon, MI, Nov. 18, 1923, the daughter of George & Vinnie (Chamberlain) Seller, and graduated from Ontonagon High School in June of 1940. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, George. Surviving are a number of cousins, children of her parents' brothers and sisters. Edith has resided in Kalamazoo since 1951 and was a member of the People's Church. She was employed in Dec. of 1951 by Attorneys Gould Fox and Edward P. Thompson and remained with that firm through its merger in May of 1992 with REED, STOVER & O'CONNOR, P.C., until her retirement Dec. 31, 1992. She enjoyed numerous trips to England. In accordance with her request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held 2:00 o'clock Friday afternoon at the People's Church, 1758 N. 10th. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Ass'n, the American Cancer Society, Hospice or a charity of one's choice.
