William Asbury Bryson was a native of Tennessee but had spent most of his life in Greenville, and was living at 14 Payne St. at the time of his death. His obituary stated he had been ill for several weeks and in failing health for some time.
He was survived by two sons, Marion C. Bryson and Allen G. Bryson, both of Greenville; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Tiny Irby (she may have actually been his niece) and Mrs. S. J. Bell of Anderson.
Funeral services: Tuesday, August 6, 1935, chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. E. P. Drivers.
