MRS. EMMA ELY FRONEFIELD
Mrs. W. D. Fisher, of this city, and Mrs. E. B. Marshall, of Annville, have received sad tidings in a message announcing the death of their sister, Mrs. Emma Ely Fronefield, at Philadelphia, this morning. The deceased was the widow of Horace Fronefield, who passed away three years ago. She would have attained the sixty-sixth year of her age had she lived until next week.
While Mrs. Fronefield left Lebanon at the time of her marriage about 40 years ago, and resided out of the city ever since, she is well remembered by older citizens as the daughter of the late Anthony F. Ely. She was born and raised here, and was widely and favorably known.
She made periodical visits to Lebanon relatives and maintained her circle of acquaintances here. Her death has brought sorrow to many friends.
The children are Mrs. Margaret Herr, Elizabeth, Mrs. Alfzod Rankin, Mrs. William Wengert and Edwina.
Besides five daughters and the sisters already named, she leaves two other sisters, Mrs. Mary Robinson, of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Anna Ely Maas, now of Vienna, Austria. [Lebanon Daily News]
