Funeral services for Mr. Calvin Frank Booth Jr. will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, in the New Willow Baptist Church in Leesville with the Rev. Harrison Fields officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vowells Mill under the direction of the Winnfield Funeral Home of Natchitoches. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. today, Nov. 22, in the church. Mr. Booth was a native of Crossett, Ark., and lived in the New Llano-Vernon Parish area for 25 years. He served in the U.S. Army for 13 years and receives an Army Commendation Bronze Medal Star, a Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Gallantry National Defense Sevice Medal with Bronze Star. He retired from the Army National Guard. Survivors include his wife of New Llano; five children, three sons and two daughters; one sister of Crossett, Ark.l and one brother of Los Angeles, Calif.
