Earned a Masters of Library Science from Kent State University. Graduated from Concordia College in Seward, NE. Graduated Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls, MN.
Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Jeanne Louise Emily Horter; sisters Lucy Knoll and Delores Mason.
