Judith E. Lantow, 83, of Marinette, WI, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the Cottages of Marinette, where she had most recently resided. She was born October 15, 1940 in Oconto, WI to Lloyd and Ruth (Vouti) Baldwin.
She spent her early life there and was a graduate of Oconto High School.
Judith married Larry L. Lantow of Marinette on Oct. 3, 1959.
For 31 years they operated Lantow's Last Resort on Lake Noquebay in Marinette County and later resided in the Peshtigo, WI area. While active in their business, Judith was also a stay at home mom who was devoted to her husband and family. She was a longtime member of the Community Covenant Church.
Judith is survived by four children: Danny Lantow, Vicki Freud, Larry (Susie) Lantow, Jr. and Matthew (Tabitha) Lantow;
six grandchildren: Adam (Addie) Lantow, Kendra (Mick) Thiel, Courtney Lantow (fiancé, Cody Rye), Noah, Braden and Joy Lantow;
two great-grandchildren: Sylvia and Langston Lantow;
one brother Don Baldwin;
and three sisters: Ruth (Mrs. Bernie) Feifarek, Grace Wasley and Joan (Mrs. George) Peterson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Larry;
and siblings: Jeanette Baldwin, Raymond Baldwin, Dolores Brandle, Lois Hendry, Lloyd ( Bridget ) Jr.~~died October, 1991 and William (Ellen ) Baldwin.
Visitation will be at Community Covenant Church, 1205 13th St. in Menominee after 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 11th. Services will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Linnea Ek officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Marinette.
