Ralph Eugene Gronefeld, Sr.,84, of Louisville, passed away on November 9, 2023. Born on June 21, 1939 in Fayette County, KY.

A lifelong bowler and member of the Greater Louisville Bowling Association Hall of Fame. Ralph's legacy will continue through his beloved family and the community he greatly impacted.

He is survived by his children, Ralph (Linda) Gronefeld Jr., Susan (Bill) Glasscock, Terry (David) Fritsch, Patty (Roger) Abell, Cathy (Tom) Derringer, Julie (Barry) Wilson, Joe Gronefeld, Danny Gronefeld, and Dana (Mike) Coulter. His legacy is further carried on by his 28 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, his siblings, Betty (George "John" IV) Herbert and Tony (Vanessa) Gronefeld, and his adored dog, Ginger.

Preceding him in death is his beloved wife, Dorothy "Dottie" Gronefeld and daughter Mary Penny Gronefeld.

Ralph's life and spirit will be honored during visitation hours on Monday, November 13th from 2 PM to 8 PM. The visitation will continue on Tuesday, November 14th, at 11 AM, with the funeral service to follow at 12 PM. The committal will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
